Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated and dynamic interns to join our Content Marketing and Brand Partnerships departments. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports marketing, content creation, and brand management. Interns will work closely with our team to support athletes and the agency in achieving their marketing goals.
Responsibilities: **Keep in mind we will help you learn some of these tasks**
Content Marketing:
- Manage and update company pages on TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Develop innovative content ideas for Apex Athlete Management's social media platforms.
- Create engaging content concepts for the athletes we represent.
- Design content strategies for brand deals and partnerships.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize content performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
- Sometimes assist in the production and editing of multimedia content (videos, graphics, etc.).
Brand Partnerships:
- Support in facilitating partnerships between athletes and brands.
- Conduct outreach to businesses and brands through emails, DMs, and calls.
- Build and nurture relationships with brands for both partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
- Research potential brand partners and understand their target audiences, marketing budget cycle, etc.
- Assist in organizing meetings and communications between the agency and potential brand partners.
- Learn how to support negotiations for sponsorship deals between athletes and brands.
- Assist in creating marketing materials and strategies to promote athlete-brand partnerships.
- Implement email marketing campaigns and follow up with brands through various communication methods.
- Learn to track the effectiveness of brand partnerships and analyze their impact on athletes' image and earnings.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sports marketing and athlete brand management.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn) and content creation tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively and generate innovative content ideas.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
- Previous experience in marketing or brand partnerships is a plus but not required.
